“We look back at the cars that we hid between just before and saw that everything is burning. Then the reality hits that there is no army and we are just alone. I thought in that moment, this is our destiny, and whatever needs to happen, will happen.” Oriah Shemla, 29, from Jerusalem, Avishai Amarya, 28, from Netanya, and Rom Al-Hay, 29, from Netanya, fled the Nova Festival. They tell about what guided them while running away, the cheers of joy of the terrorists, the feelings of guilt afterwards, and why the security vehicle refused to rescue them.
