Millet Ben Haim

“Since October 7, I haven’t looked in the mirror, because I don’t recognize the person in the reflection”

Millet Ben Haim, 27, from Pardes Hana hid for hours in the surrounding fields at the Nova festival.

“There was a real resignation to death. I imagined my family members at the funeral saying that at least I had a good life. I thought, ‘Okay, I’ll die here and life will go on.'” Between the barrages of gunfire, she heard birds chirping. “It reassured me that nature does not change because of human evil.”
